Tin Sheds Gallery is currently undergoing some minor renovations thanks to a grant from the NSW Ministry for the Arts. We have a brand new window gallery being built as I write which will be ready for our fist exhibition openings on February 17th.
The window gallery is called Avago in honor of the old window gallery at Tin Sheds’ former location. It is 800mm deep and 1730mm wide x 3390mm high. The glass window has also been widened so that artists can now drive into the gallery to delivery artworks.
In 2012 artists will be able to propose works specifically for this tiny, yet highly visible space. Next time you passing along City Road check it out!
